So, this is a… sex show?
Nope! We are first and foremost an educational workshop! Kink can be and is so sexy, kink is often a factor of sex, but vastly the kink you will witness here as an audience member is going to live in the realm of sensations, pain, and experiences, rather than what most people might traditionally think of and imagine as “sexual intercourse.” (lol)
If I get horny while watching, can I touch myself or my date/friend/daddy?
Also nope! We love that we made you horny. We cannot account for everyone’s consent so it’s gonna have to wait ‘til you get home! We have hopes to one day partner with local kink spaces for continued education and workshop spaces, but currently this show is only for watching.
Does the audience get to participate?
With your laughter and cheering and shared experience of enthusiastic witnessing! If post-show the option is available, it is possible our presenting kinksters will have offer tastings or sign up sheets/business cards for further contact.
Do you serve alcohol?
Our venue New Well Studio has agreed and we will not be serving alcohol, and you cannot bring it into our venue. We also would like to inform folks that if your pre-show alcohol consumption makes you an unsafe audience member we will kindly ask you to leave the show. The number one factor for good kink play is consent. In the Giggle Bottom’s group definition of kink — we do not consent to alcohol consumption at our show. We will however have sodas, soda water, and other NA beverages available during and after the show.
Can we show up early to get good seats?
Doors open at 7:30pm. The show starts as close to 8pm as possible. Doors close at 8:10 pm, with no refunds currently available. Our venue is New Well Studio, the address is 6501 N Interstate Ave, Portland, OR 97217, we suggest planning any travel to/from the show in advance to make sure you’re there on time. (To our predominantly queer audience, our thoughts & prayers are with you. You can do it.)
Can I get a refund?
Our current policy is a refund up to 72 hours before the show. Day of there are no refunds available. We have to be able to pay our venue, the performing comedians and cast, as well as our media folks taking photos and videos. *** COVID POLICY *** If you test positive for COVID, this is currently our only exception. A photo of your test with the date will allow you to use your ticket(s) for the next upcoming GB show.
If you have COVID related symptoms, and are testing negative, please stay home. We’re here and queer and we keep each other safe.
What do I need to bring as an audience member?
At the door you will show your ID, for proof of 18+ for our audience. We are also currently asking all audience members to be update to date and vaccinated for COVID. Masks are required, but we have some for you at the door. Otherwise, feel free to dress up! Feel sexy! We’re asking for street wear to the door, but inside the venue feel free to be the freak you are!
